Didi Museum

It is the first private, nonprofit museum in Nigeria founded by Dr Newton Jibunoh. DIDI Museum represents a private indigenous initiative that presents a contemporary view towards visual arts. Building on the history and successes of Didi Museum which is regarded as the first privately owned museum in Nigeria (founded in 1983), the Foundation was established to meet the expanding needs of the present cultural and art landscape including promotion of arts, preservation of dying cultures, education and research, and entertainment.
